205 Live Episode 41 Recap: Neville vs. Enzo set for ‘No Mercy’



The show kicks off with Rich Swann coming to the ring to watch the opening match from the commentary table.

TJP def. Ariya Daivari via Pinfall. After the match, Swann got in the ring. He dance and dabbed, then challenged TJP to a match next week.

They showed highlight from the previous week’s match between Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick.

Drew Gulak is handing out flyers backstage for his “better 205 Live”.

It’s official: TJP will face Rich Swann in a rubber match to decide the winner of their friendly rivalry.

Drew Gulak is in the ring. He says he wants to be in the title picture. He says the reason he’s not is because people fear what they don’t understand. To help people understand, he says he has put together a “concise and entertaining PowerPoint presentation.” We only see 2 presentations (1. No jumping off the top rope and 2. Jumping off the middle rope) before Akira Tozawa interrupts him.

Backstage, Dasha talks with Enzo Amore. She asks him about his “work smarter, not harder” quote from Raw. He says he is 3-0 as a cruiserweight. She asks him if he measures up to Neville or Cedric Alexander in terms of athleticism. He says they are some of the most gifted athletes he has ever seen but he says he has the gift of gab. He says he’s in a league of his own on the microphone. He adds he knows he hasn’t traveled the world for years on the indies but they all ended up in the same place. He’s using his certified GPS to put 205 Live on the map. He’s not talking any of his opponents lightly. Neville interrupts him. Neville says Enzo is as ridiculous as he looks. He adds 205 Live is an arena for real competitors and serious athletes. He says Enzo isn’t serious. Neville says Enzo has not business even entertaining the idea that he belongs in the same ring. Enzo tells Neville he’s not going to play his Game of Thrones. At No Mercy, Enzo is taking the belt from Neville.

Enzo Amore def. Tony Nese, Cedric Alexander, The Brian Kendrick and Gran Metalik to earn a shot at Neville’s Cruiserweight Championship at No Mercy.
