205 Live Episode 54 Recap



The show starts with a recap of last week’s RAW.

Drew Gulak is in the ring. He says he has some things to say on mentor’s behalf. He has defeated several other Cruiserweights last night on Raw and he will defeat Rich Swann to face Enzo for an opportunity at the Cruiserweight Championship. Enzo has given him his microphone, the microphone leadership. He will use the microphone to talk about leadership in a PowerPoint presentation. Cedric Alexander interrupts him. Gulak says if Alexander hadn’t interrupted him, he’d had seen his leadership presentation, slide number 14: “Strong leaders delegate”. Gulak took it upon himself to talk to management and they allowed him to delegate his responsibility for tonight’s match. He decided to give the responsibility to another member of the ‘Zo train: Noam Dar.

Backstage Akira Tozawa, Mustafa Ali ad Rich Swann are excited about 205Live going on the road. Ali says hearing Gulak out there almost made him miss Enzo. Dasha comes to interview Swann. She asks him how Gulak running the ‘Zo train tonight affects his strategy for his match against Tony Nese. Swann says Gulak knows he can’t handle it. That’s why he sent Dar against Alexander and Nese against him. Gulak wants to make sure Swann is not ready for next week’s match; but Swann has been through adversity in the past. The Drew train can come out tonight and continue to look like fools while Swann goes out and does what he does best: “Stay classy”.

After a recap of Jack Gallager and The Brian Kendrick’s attack on Kalisto last week, an interview with Kendrick earlier today is shown. He says Kalisto walks in and gets Championship opportunities handed to him. Kendrick, on the other hand, has always had to work for every opportunity. Gallagher says Kalisto is not here, he is on an international tour. As far as he and Kendrick are concerned, Kalisto can stay gone.

There a recap of Nia Jax and Enzo’s angle. Then Gulak is talk to the ‘Zo train. He says it’s very important to Enzo that he defeats Rich Swann Monday night on Raw. That’s why he put him in charge. Daivari says he doesn’t answer to Gulak. Gulak says that’s his choice. Daivari doesn’t have to answer to Gulak, but he will answer to Enzo when he gets back. Daivari can tell him why he disobeyed a direct order. There’s a reason why Gulak is the one holding the microphone of leadership. They’re like the Justice League. When their Superman Enzo is away, he puts their Batman in charge. He says Tony Nese is Aquaman; Noam Dar, the Flash; and Daivari is WonderWoman. When Daivari questions why he is WonderWoman, Gulak says it’s because he’s a fierce warrior and has a great sense of fashion. Tonight Nese needs their unwavering support. Gulak is going to be in his corner, and everyone needs to do their part.

After the match, Daivari and Dar come out. They surround the ring, where Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann are. Tozawa and Ali come out and attack the ‘Zo train. Daivari, Dar, Gualk and Nese back off and walk down the ramp.
