205 Live Episode 66 Recap

Cedric Alexander walks to the ring for his match against TJP. We see a video from earlier today. Alexander says TJP has been talking thrash all week long, but he can’t play him. The only thing in his head is going to Wrestlemania and becoming Cruiserweight Champion.

Next up, TJP is interviewed. Dasha asks him how he feels going into his match with Cedric Alexander. TJP says he’s a living Cruiserweight legend, as well as the first Cruiserweight Champion. He shouldn’t have to go through an entire tournament for a title opportunity at Wrestlemania. But if that’s what they’re going make him do, that’s fine. Champions rise to the occasion. As the first Cruiserweight Champion, he is going to walk through Cedric Alexander tonight. At Wrestlemania he is walking out as the next Cruiserweight Champion.

  • Mustafa Ali sits down backstage. He says he had the fight of his life the previous week. Jack Gallagher made it a point to make him experience levels of pain he’d felt. Despite the pain his eyes were locked to the Wrestlemania sign. He fought, scratched and clawed. He held out just a little longer and he won the match. Next week he fights Buddy Murphy. Murphy is bigger, stronger, and faster. He’s a bad dude, but not bad enough to break Ali.
  • Buddy Murphy is interviewed as he is coming out of the arena. He says he’s waited for that moment for a long time. If Ali thinks his match against Gallagher was brutal he doesn’t know what coming when he’ll face Murphy next week. Come Wrestlemania, Murphy is going to win the Cruiserweight Championship.
