A video package of last week’s match between Cedric Alexander and Buddy Murphy is played before we join Mustafa Ali in the locker room. He says Cedric Alexander’s performance last week made him proud. It also made him hungry to get back in the ring and prove he can hang with the best. He wants to prove he deserves an opportunity. Tonight he faces Buddy Murphy. Murphy thinks he’s going to run right through him and right to another title opportunity. He says we all know Murphy is stronger. The question is whether Murphy has enough heart or not. Tonight, Ali wants to show the world that he has the hear of a champion. 

TJP def. Brian Keith via submission. During the match, TJP gets out of the ring to cut a promo. He says he knows Keith wanted to make a name for himself off the Cruisergreat but it’s not going to happen. TJP continues his promo while assaulting his opponent. He asks if this is really the type of competition the first ever Cruiserweight Champion deserves.

It seems to him GM Drake Maverick has forgotten TJP carried the vision on his back before he got here. Maybe another GM on another brand might appreciate his talent a little better. Paige, Kurt Angle or even William Regal might be interested. The best technical wrestler in the game might be available to these brands very son. As for Keith, it’s tap out time.

Lio Rush asks where ‘The Man of the Hour’ has been. He answers that he’s ben in the back, planning his perfect attack. There’s no question that he’s the best Cruiserweight in the world. Dasha interviews Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese. She asks Murphy if his setback against Cedric Alexander affected his ability to prepare for this encounter against Mustafa Ali. Nese says Murphy took Alexander to the limit last week. You’d have to be a moron to think next time would have the same result. Murphy says he’s still the juggernaut of this division. He’s about to go out there and prove that. He’ll prove that you can’t stop the unstoppable. 

Mustafa Ali def. Buddy Murphy via DQ when Hideo Itami attacked Ali. He also attacked Murphy.
