The show starts with GM Drake Maverick addressing Hideo Itami’s attack on Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali. He says Itami’s actions won’t be tolerated and he won’t appear on tonight’s episode of 205 Live.
Dasha interviews Jack Gallagher, The Brian Kendrick and Drew Gulak backstage. She asks them why they’ve joined together to face the LHP. Kendrick says The Lucha House Party is staking claim as the top tag team on 205 Live. For them to achieve their goals they have to go through LHP. Gallagher says up until this moment the Luchadors have enjoyed an unfair numbers advantage. Thanks to their alliance this strategy will no longer work. Gulak says his vision for 205 Live isn’t some high-flying fiesta. It’s a technical masterclass. He’s enlisted his fellow professors to teach these Luchadors a lesson. If you step to him, you will tap out.
Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik) def. Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick via pinfall
Hideo Itami does a selfie promo. He says Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali didn’t deserve to be in the main event. They don’t deserve to be champion. Itami will be the next Cruiserweight Champion and he will make us respect him.
Buddy Murphy coms in GM Drake Maverick’s office. Maverick thanks him for coming. Murphy says unless the reason Maverick wanted to see him is to give him a match against Itami, he doesn’t care what he has to say. If Maverick was good at his job, he would have already made the match. Maverick says Ali also came in with the same request but it’s not happening. He’s not having another 205 Live main event ruined.
Mustafa Ali does a selfie promo. He says he was on the verge of stopping the unstoppable. He was this close to beating Buddy Murphy. Hideo Itami had to take it away. It sucks and Itami did put him down last week. Where he’s from, when you get put down. You get back up. Tonight he gets back up and gets back into the ring against Tony Nese. He gets one step closer to the Cruiserweight Championship. He just hopes Murphy and Itami are watching closely.

Lio Rush “premieres soon” promo. He says he feels disrespected. He asks how they can have two cruiserweight tournaments without having the best cruiserweight in the wold. It’s about time things stop being misunderstood. He says he’s the right man, at the right time, at the right place.
Tony Nese is backstage. He says Mustafa Ali wants back in the Title picture. He made a mistake accepting Nese’s challenge. Ali is not the only one who wants to prove himself. Tonight is not about Ali. Tonight is about Nese making his statement at Ali’s expense.
TJP cuts a selfie promo. He says this is another 205 Live without him in a high profile match. That’s okay. When this “Cruisergreat” becomes a “Heavygreat” you never know where he’ll show up next. Maybe then GM Drake Maverick will have to be reminded he’s the guy who carried 205 Live brand on his back. Instead he’ll just remember him as the one who got away.
Mustafa Ali (with Cedric Alexander) def. Tony Nese (with Buddy Murphy) via pinfall.
After the match, Mustafa Ali grabs a microphone. He says everyone wants this match. He asks him to make the triple threat for next week.
Dasha catches up with Drake Maverick after the match. She asks him about his reaction to what Ali just said. Maverick makes the match. The main event next week will be Buddy Murphy vs Hideo Itami vs Mustafa Ali.
