Three NXT talents debut on Smackdown Live

After RAW made waves with the return of Paige and main roster debuts of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville last night, all eyes were on Smackdown Live to make some new additions to their women’s division.

During a backstage scene that featured Naomi getting some makeup work done backstage, Ruby Riot would introduce herself to the WWE vet. After seeing what happened to Alexa Bliss last night backstage on RAW, Naomi quickly got up and attempted to move away from the situation. Riot was quickly joined by Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, all of whom appeared thirsty to make an immediate impression on the former 2-time Smackdown Women’s Champion. Riot would get the festivities started with a punch to the gut. And the rest was history. Becky Lynch would attempt to jump in and save Naomi from the madness but would instead take a beating of her own for her troubles.

Riot and Logan had plenty of success on the indie scene before joining NXT as Heidi Lovelace and Crazy Mary Dobson, respectively. Liv Morgan made her debut for NXT back in 2015 under the ring name Gionna Daddio.

Dave has been covering Pro Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts for various websites since 2010. He currently runs both FightBooth and FightBoothPW with the help of some lovely and talented people.
