The only 3-time Ring of Honor World Champion in the history of the promotion has signed with WWE.

Adam Cole, 28, has come to terms with WWE to work on their NXT brand. PWInsider was the first to confirm the news. The writing was on the wall that Cole would sign with WWE after an 8-year stint wit Ring of Honor came to a close earlier this year. Cole has worked various indies since leaving ROH; he’s set to begin work at the Performance Center in Orlando sometime this week.

With NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III just days away, you can fully expect to see Adam Cole ‘Baybay’ making his debut this weekend if not soon after.

Dave has been covering Pro Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts for various websites since 2010. He currently runs both FightBooth and FightBoothPW with the help of some lovely and talented people.
