Video: Big Cass suffers legitimate knee injury on RAW

A ‘Brooklyn Street Fight’ between former tag team partners Big Cass and Enzo Amore ended on a bad note earlier tonight in Brooklyn on Monday Night RAW.

Cass injured himself on a spot (1:10 marker of the video) where he missed Amore with the big right boot and went over the top rope. He’d land awkwardly, clutching his left knee but in a valiant effort would return to action.

After attempting to shake it off, Cass would slam Enzo and attempt an Empire Elbow following a light bounce off the rope. Unfortunately, it’d just be too much for Cass. His left knee would buckle and the referee would be forced to throw up the dreaded “X” informing Enzo and the ringside physicians of the seriousness of the situation. A visibly angered Cass immediately gave the impression that this was not an angle.

WWE.com has reported that Cass will get an MRI tomorrow to determine the full extent of the injury. Stay tuned for more updates.
