The first match has been announced for WWE’s first ever all-female PPV event and it’s a big one.
WWE officials have confirmed that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will take on current RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss at the October 28th PPV event.
Stratus announced her retirement in 2006 but has competed in a few sporadic mixed tag matches over the years. She also played a major part in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this year out of Philly. This will mark the first time that Stratus has competed in singles action since March of 2011.
The 7-time Women’s Champion will have her hands full with one of today’s greats in the form of 5-time Champ Alexa Bliss when she makes her triumphant return to the squared circle. Bliss may or may not come equipped with the RAW Women’s Championship depending of if she can get past Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam.
