Bullet Club leaders set for war at Supercard of Honor XII

Cody and Kenny Omega will finally attempt to settle their differences at Ring of Honor’s annual Supercard show during WrestleMania weekend.

The match is being sold as a “Civil War” between Cody, the North American leader of Bullet Club, and Omega, the New Japan leader of the iconic faction with members currently confused as to which side they are on. The match was confirmed on the latest episode of their Being the Elite web series.

The in fighting between the two went beyond words on night two of The New Beginning in Sapporo. Just when it appeared that cooler heads would prevail, Cody held the middle rope for Omega to leave the ring. Just as Omega began to exit, Cody would grab him from behind and hit him with a Cross Rhodes. He’d employ Hangman Page to hold him so he could inflict further punishment but the two would be forced to retreat when Omega’s former tag partner, Kota Ibushi, made the save.

This has caused a lot of sorrow for members of Bullet Club as seen in the most recent episode of their aforementioned wildly popular web series. While Cody is smoking cigars in the bathtub with a smile on his face like a true power villain, the rest of the crew appear to be extremely conflicted. If you’re having any qualms about watching the latest episode, at least do it for Marty Scurll’s heartbreaking rendition of the Avril Lavigne classic, the one the episode is named after.

Supercard of Honor is set to take place on April 7th at UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans. The show is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CDT.
