Charlotte Flair reveals her dream opponent outside of WWE

It’s highly likely that Charlotte Flair is a WWE wrestler for life. So if you want to share a ring with the 5-time World Champion, you’re going to have to come to her.

Recently, “The Queen” of WWE responded to a very interesting question from a fan on Twitter about who she’d love to wrestle that isn’t currently part of the WWE machine?

Tessa Blanchard was quick respond with the following.

Blanchard is currently negotiating with Impact Wrestling where she is quickly being brought up as a viable contender for the Knockouts Championship. She has experience on WWE TV having wrestled in NXT and as a competitor in last year’s Mae Young Classic where she would be eliminated in the opening round by the eventual tournament winner, Kairi Sane.

At just 22 years of age, having traveled around the world to win multiple titles on the indie circuit, it goes without saying that Blanchard has a bright future in WWE after she gets some more TV experience under her belt. She’ll get just that with Impact.

When Flair and Blanchard do finally meet, it will surely be built as feud worthy enough to headline WrestleMania.

Flair, the best second generation wrestler in the world today, taking on a third generation wrestler in Blanchard has so much history built into it.

A clash of bloodlines, two daughters of original Horsemen — Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard — two of the best to ever lace up the boots and handle a microphone. It’s just one of those rivalries that can’t fail. The options are endless when it comes to booking these two.

Blanchard has put on an incredible amount of muscle over the past year, never hesitating to show of a build that, like Flair, proves that she is built to last inside of this unforgiving business. And while the accomplishments of their respective fathers does bring endless intrigue to this eventual pairing, make no mistake about it, these two competitors didn’t get where they are today because of them. They don’t “deserve” it. They earned it.

This is one of those dream match ups that pro wrestling fans can look forward to taking in sometime down the road. And it’s rather refreshing knowing that both of the parties involved are looking forward too it as much as we are.
