Daniel Bryan’s return match is official for WrestleMania 34

Following two straight weeks of beatdowns issued via top SmackDown Live heels Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan delivered a WrestleMania challenge to both men tonight in Pittsburgh.

Two weeks ago, Owens and Zayn brutally attacked SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon, sending him to the hospital with multiple injuries.

Last week, both men would spoil the return of the newly medically cleared GM, Daniel Bryan, after he was forced to fire them for the McMahon beatdown by sending him off on a stretcher.

Tonight, a fired up Bryan would challenge both Owens and Zayn to a WrestleMania tag team match that would pit him and McMahon against the two recently unemployed performers. They would be quick to accept.

It has also been reported that on top of his kayfabe injuries, McMahon was recently discharged from the hospital after being treated for acute diverticulitis. McMahon was originally hospitalized while on vacation in Antigua but was moved closer to home in New York City to continue treatment.

While this tag team match between the team of McMahon and Bryan taking on Owens and Zayn has now officially been announced as the article is being written, McMahon’s status still remains up in the air due to the seriousness of this situation. Stay tuned.
