Another crazy weekend in the world of professional wrestling is on the horizon including a major shakeup to WWE’s TLC card.

WWE

• The major story today is Kurt Angle stepping in to replace Roman Reigns and AJ Styles replacing Sister Abigail (Bray Wyatt) on Sunday night. WWE confirmed the following in a statement to ESPN:

“We have confirmed that three of our performers have been diagnosed with a viral infection. As a precautionary measure, we are ensuring in-ring performers and staff are tested and immunized in accordance with recommended medical guidelines.”

The “communicable disease” which is rumored to be either viral meningitis or mumps, has forced Bray Wyatt, Bo Dallas, Roman Reigns and ring announcer JoJo Offerman off the road. More wrestlers are being tested according to PWInsider.

• AJ Styles is ready to step in for Sister Abigial to take on The Demon.

NXT

• Shawn Michaels will referee a NXT Championship match that will see Drew McIntyre defend his title against Adam Cole in a pre NXT TakeOver: War Games house show. The show will take place in San Antonio on November 17th on the same night as Night One of Ring of Honor’s Survival of the Fittest show.

• Our very own award-winning NXT TV review man, Shawn Mareane, has been on a hiatus from his weekly NXT reviews, but we can assure you we will be back to reviewing shows next week as we head toward War Games. For now, here’s a look at some highlights from this past Wednesday night.

• Taryn Terrell has confirmed that she will no longer be working for Impact Wrestling. Terrell was scheduled to compete in a Fatal 4-Way for the Knockouts Championship at Bound for Glory on November 5th. That match will no be a 3-way between current Knockouts Champion Sienna, Allie and Gail Kim.
