GCW ‘Matt Riddle’s Bloodsport’ Results & Review

Published

on

Despite a troubling stream, Matt Riddle’s Bloodsport managed to deliver a diverse and fun show, capped off by a great main event. The show started off with logical conclusions which helped set up how quickly a match can end. A cool aspect of the show were the controversial calls that blurred the line between work and shoot. Each match was kept short in order to sustain the real fight feel and while some matches were clearly more creative than others, in the end the main event did deliver and sent everyone home happy. I wouldn’t be able to tell you anything too memorable happened outside of the main event but this was a cool change of pace for a packed wrestling weekend. The jury is still out if we’ll see something similar next year but I wouldn’t be opposed to giving this another shot if it were to happen.
