An inaugural AEW World Champion will be crowned on August 31st inside of the same venue where it all started last year at All In.

In an interview with Busted Open‘s David LeGreca and Bully Ray, Chris Jericho revealed that he will indeed take on Hangman Adam Page inside of Sears Centre Arena in a match that will crown the first ever AEW World Championship.

The match was made official last weekend after both men earned their spots — Page by winning the pre-show Casino Battle Royale, Jericho by defeating Omega in the main event — on the promotions inaugural PPV, Double or Nothing.

AEW will put on two shows before All Out, Fyter Fest on Daytona Beach on June 29th and Fight for the Fallen in Jacksonville on July 13th, before the focus turns to the late August PPV. Stay tuned for more match announcements for All Out as the event draws near.
