RAW Update: John Cena versus Jason Jordan to open Monday Night RAW; Sasha Banks invokes rematch clause

Tonight’s Labor Day edition of Monday Night RAW out of the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska has plenty in store for the observing working class heroes of the United States and beyond.

RAW GM Kurt Angle’s son, Jason Jordan, will take on 16-time World Champion John Cena to kick off the show. Jordan will look to make his Dad proud when he takes on the man that Angle once welcomed to the WWE many over a decade and a half ago.

In other news, just moments ago, former 4-time RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks announced that she will be invoking her rematch clause setting up a duel between her and current Women’s champion Alexa Bliss at WWE No Mercy. The RAW exclusive PPV will go down on September 24th in Los Angeles.

Bliss defeated Banks for the title last week on RAW just over a week after Banks bested her at SummerSlam. Banks’ 4-title reigns have lasted a total of just 84 days.

Cena vs. Jordan will join Big Show and Braun Strowman and the Intercontinental Title affair between The Miz and Jeff Hardy. Hardy earned his title shot by winning a good old fashioned Battle Royal on last week’s edition of RAW.
