Brock Lesnar became a 2-time WWE Universal Champion today in Saudi Arabia.

After being hit from behind by RAW acting General Manager Baron Corbin, Brock’s opponent, Braun Strowman ate five F5’s (including one to the outside of the ring) before being defeated via pinfall in the penultimate singles match for the promotions controversial Crown Jewel PPV event.

Aside from a boot to the face late in the match, this match was all one-sided Beast on Monster offense.

With Lesnar reportedly set to face the winner of tomorrow’s Daniel Cormier versus Derrick Lewis UFC 230 bout for the Heavyweight Championship in early 2019, it’s currently unclear how often he’ll be on WWE programming moving forward.

It has been officially announced that Lesnar will once again face AJ Styles in a rematch of last year’s RAW vs. Smackdown ‘Champion versus Champion’ match later this month at Survivor Series.

Dave has been covering Pro Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts for various websites since 2010. He currently runs both FightBooth and FightBoothPW with the help of some lovely and talented people.
