Odds Booth: WrestleMania 36 RAW Preview

Published

on

An unprecedented two-night WrestleMania event is now less than a handful of sleeps away, heating up the line movement across sportsbooks around the world. Last month, we took a look at the SmackDown side of things so it’s only fitting that today, we check out the top of the RAW portion of the card.

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is a slight underdog (+162) as he takes on Drew McIntyre in the headliner of WrestleMania 36.

McIntyre, this past year’s Royal Rumble victor, did not hesitate when it came time for him to pick which championship to go after at WrestleMania 36. After all, McIntyre would eliminate a Lesnar who had run roughshod all over the competition after having entered the Rumble in the number one position. Now, over a decade removed from being dubbed the “Chose One” by Vince McMahon, McIntyre will finally have a chance to create his own WrestleMania moment against arguably the most dominant champion of this era.

You can bet on Lesnar vs. McIntyre and more as gambling sites are getting creative with props for WrestleMania this Sunday, including odds on WWE legend Edge (-400) as he returns to face the legend killer Randy Orton, who happens to be a sizable underdog (+225).

Simply put, there is no backstory on this two-night event that comes close to pulling at the heartstrings like this one.

When Edge returned as a surprise entrant at this year’s Royal Rumble it immediately became the “feel-good” moment of the year. When Orton stabbed his old pal in the back on the following RAW, it set the stage for a WrestleMania feud that has stolen headlines ever since.

In his own words, will Edge finally have the opportunity to end his career on his “own terms,” or will Orton end him for good?
