  • This was good battle royal and had some nice spots. Jeff Hardy and The Miz should have a good match next week. Looks like the Balor and Wyatt feud is still continuing.

They showed footage of Strowman delivering two running powerslam to Lesnar. The segment ended with Lesnar grabbing the microphone from Heyman and saying “What he’s trying to say is, suplex city, b*tch.”

  • This was a good segment as Strowman wasn’t needed. Lesnar speaking was great as he added more hype to the match.

Raw Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins came out for him match with his parter Dean Ambrose by his side. Michael Cole threw to a recap of Cena and Reigns teaming up last week.

Cesaro def. Seth Rollins

It was a fine match. Highlights included Cesaro military pressing Rollins into the air. Cesaro then delivered back-to-back gut wrench suplex to Rollins. Rollins recovered by delivering a sling blade and a blockbuster from the top rope. Rollins tried to climb the top rope but was distracted by Sheamus. Ambrose attacks Sheamus on the floor. Cesaro delivered a big uppercut and won after he rolled up Ambrose.

  • After the match, Sheamus cut a promo and challenged Ambrose to a match.

Dean Ambrose def. Sheamus

Another fine match. But just like the previous match, story was both Cesaro and Rollins causing distractions on the outside. Cesaro jumped on the ring apron but Rollins pulled him off. Rollins slide into the ring and Cesaro went after him. Sheamus attempted the White Noise but Rollins stopped him by delivering a springboard flying knee as the referee was distracted by Cesaro. Ambrose won after delivering the Dirty Deeds.

A short match as James kicked Emma in the face and then attempted a roll up. But, Emma reversed rolled up Mickie and got the win. Emma cut a promo as she repeatedly said that she started the Women’s revolution.

John Cena and Roman Reigns contract signing!

This segment was just awesome and some highlights included Cena calling Reigns “a cheap-a** corporate Cena bootleg.” Cena also said “You took the U.S. Title as a demotion. I’m still here because you can’t do your job!” At one point, Reigns forgot his lines so Cena said, “Go ahead a find it. I’ll wait. It’s called a promo kid. If you want to be the big dog, you’re going to have to learn how to do it. See ya, fourth wall!”

Reigns called Cena a phony and a yes man. Cena got the last word and said he can do this job better part-time then Reigns can do it full-time. Reigns signed the contract and made the match official. Reigns then flipped the table over and had a stare down with Cena. Anderson and Gallows came out and called Cena and Reigns “Nerds” this led to a team match.

  • Reigns did a good job but Cena was the highlight of this segment just showing how much of a bigger superstar and presence he has.

John Cena & Roman Reigns def. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Highlight of the match was Reigns mocking Cena while Anderson and Gallows had control for most part of the match. Finish of the match of Cena giving Anderson the Attitude Adjustment and Reigns spear Gallows for the win at the same time. Cena and Reigns glared at each other after the match.

Pelvis Wesley confronted Elias

Elias was in ring, strumming away on his guitar and sang a song for the WWE Universe. Jerry Lawler stopped Elias by saying he has trouble relating to his audience in Memphis. Lawler then brought out Pelvis Wesley from SouthPaw Regional Wrestling. Crowd wasn’t interested and had no idea who Pelvis was. Pelvis came in ring, sang and danced alongside Elias. Elias then attacked Pelvis and delivered the Drift Away. Pelvis was revealed as Heath Slater.

RAW Women’s Championship Match: Alexa Bliss def. Sasha Banks to win the RAW Women’s Title

Highlights included, Banks got the advantage early on as she delivering a running double knee drop to Bliss on the floor. Bliss delivered a nice looking Code Red for a two after hammering Banks in the face with an elbow. Banks came with a Shining Wizards and a running knee strike in the corner. Bliss recovered by delivering a superplex from the top rope. After selling the effect of the superplex Bliss went for the cover; but Banks countered by applying the Bank Statement.

Bliss countered the hold by rolling Banks into a cradle for a near fall, which forced Banks to break the hold. Bliss countered another Bank Statement by running Banks’ face into the top rope. Bliss then delivered the DDT and got the win.

  • Best match of the night as both Banks and Bliss worked really hard.

After the match Nia Jax came down and delivered a running splash to Banks in the corner. Jax then hoisted the new Raw Women’s Champion on her shoulders. But just like how Evolution turned on Randy Orton. Jax turned on Bliss by dropping her to the match. Jax then posed with the Raw Women’s Title as the show ended.

  • A strong tease for a possible Bliss vs. Jax match at No Mercy. My prediction is Jax wins the title which leads to the debut of Asuka on Raw.

A very enjoyable episode of Raw as the Cena and Reigns segment was awesome. The card for No Mercy is taking shape and this pay-per-view could possibly be one of the biggest WWE shows of the year.
