Ronda Rousey vs Nikki Bella title match to headline WWE Evolution

Just hours removed from The Bella Twins vicious betrayal of Ronda Rousey, the main event of WWE’s upcoming Evolution PPV would be set in stone.

A singles match between RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and the longest reigning Divas Champion in the history of WWE, Nikki Bella, will main event the promotions first all women’s PPV event.

Nikki, joined by her sister Brie, attacked Rousey after the trio defeated The Riott Squad for the second consecutive time.

A tag team match was also announced for the show on last night’s episode of RAW. A couple of WWE Hall of Famers, Trish Stratus and Lita, will take on the team of Alexa Bliss and Mickie James on the show. The four women were originally set for separate singles matches — Trish vs. Alexa, Mickie vs. Lita — but the promotion decided to turn it into a tag team affair, which was the plan all along according to WONF4W‘s Dave Meltzer.
