Seth Rollins brings back the ‘Curb Stomp’ (Video)

Some pro wrestling fans around the world may have found themselves doing a double take last night when Seth Rollins brought back his old finisher against Finn Balor in a rematch of their SummerSlam 2016 Universal Championship tilt.

For the first time since 2015, the proud Iowanian used the ‘Curb Stomp’ on Balor to secure his first singles victory of 2018. The move, previously known as ‘Blackout’ during his NXT days, was banned by Vince McMahon when it was decided that it was not a good way for one of his top guys to represent the company. Why McMahon has decided that it was ok to bring the coolest finisher in WWE back now remains unclear, but we certainly aren’t complaining. Neither is Rollins.

To celebrate the return of the ‘Curb Stomp’, sit back, relax and enjoy some of the best stompings from the past below.
