RAW GM Kurt Angle has confirmed that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will defend his Universal Championship in a singles match for 4th time (2nd time on PPV, twice at house shows) at WWE’s RAW exclusive No Mercy PPV next month. His opponent will be Braun Strowman.
Strowman put on the performance of a lifetime last night in the Fatal 4-way main event of SummerSlam, putting Lesnar through not one — but two announcer’s tables — before tossing the third and last available table right on top of him. Lesnar would be stretchered out of the match due to Strowman’s manhandling of “The Beast Incarnate” but would eventually come back to F5 Roman Reigns and gain the pinfall to retain his title.
No one in WWE history has been able to rag doll Lesnar like Stromwan did last night in Brooklyn. Strowman added insult to injury on tonight’s episode of RAW by demolishing Lesnar again.
In five weeks’ time, we’ll see if ‘The Monster Among Men’ can capitalize on having Lesnar all to himself.
