A triple threat match for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship has been confirmed for next year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
After last week’s RAW main event between Kane and Braun Strowman to decide a challenger for Lesnar ended in a double count out, it’s been confirmed that both men will challenge for the title on January 28th in Philly. RAW GM Kurt Angle made the decision during tonight’s RAW show open. Angle had planned to make an announcement sometime before the end of the show, but the mere presence of both men forced him to make it so they didn’t have to make it for him.
Both men were quickly reminded of who they’ll be dealing with in six weeks time before exiting the ring.
