WWE Clash of Champions Title Change Alert: Dolph Ziggler pulls of a major upset

Dolph Ziggler became a 2-time WWE United States Champion tonight after defeating Bobby Roode and now former champ, Baron Corbin, in a triple threat match to kick off the main card of the SmackDown Live exclusive Clash of Champions PPV.

If you had money Ziggler to win the title tonight, you made quite the play. Ziggler was as high as a +1035 underdog to leave champion with Roode closing as an odds on favorite at around -350 favorite on most betting sites.

The finishing sequence went like this; Corbin was about to hit his End of Days finisher on Roode but Ziggler saw an opening to hit a lethal Zig Zag on Corbin and he took it to pick up the victory. Ziggler has now held a total of 10 WWE titles during his career.

Dave has been covering Pro Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts for various websites since 2010. He currently runs both FightBooth and FightBoothPW with the help of some lovely and talented people.
