WWE confirms WrestleMania return to MetLife Stadium in 2019



WWE and the NY Post have confirmed the report by the BarStool Sports from January that WrestleMania 35 will indeed take part in the New York – New Jersey area next year. 

“The Showcase of the Immortals” well revisit the site of WrestleMania 29 on April 7, 2019, where they will attempt to recapture some of the magic that took place on that April night in 2013 that would see 80,676 strong fill the MetLife Stadium — home of the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets — to watch The Rock headline WrestleMania for the final time in his career against John Cena in a match for the WWE Championship.

Ticket and travel packages for WrestleMania 35 will be available later this year according to The Barclays Center will host WWE’s annual Hall of Fame ceremony as well as NXT TakeOver on the night before WrestleMania and both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown on the subsequent nights after the biggest pro wrestling show of the year.
