WWE reduces India tour to one night

WWE’s highly anticipated mega tour to India has been decreased to a single event.

Times of India announced today that the company will be combining two shows into one “supershow” on December 9th at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Dehli. Here’s the press statement that was sent out.

To meet the requests of WWE fans in India, and deliver the biggest main event in the country’s history, WWE is combining two nights of family-friendly action into a one-night only, exclusive Supershow.

Translation — “we didn’t sell enough tickets for both shows so we’re combining them into one. This really didn’t turn out how we planned.”

WWE’s plan for months was to bring Jinder Mahal in as their World Champion but that was changed just last week when his 170-day reign ended in Manchester, England, where he’d drop the title to AJ Styles.

Fans that did purchase tickets for the canceled December 8th show will receive a refund for their ticket(s) or they can exchange those tickets for entry into the December 9th show.

Here’s a look at the fully updated card for WWE’s India one-night only SuperShow:

Jindher Mahal vs. Triple H

The Shield vs. Samoa Joe, Cesaro and Sheamus

Braun Strowman vs. Kane

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks

Jason Jordan vs. Elias

Enzo Amore (c) vs. Kalisto

Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil vs. Gallows and Anderson

Jeet Rama and Kishan Rafter vs. The Miztourage
