On just a couple days notice, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle offered his services to fill in for the ailing Roman Reigns at WWE TLC to join Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins against the team of The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Sheamus and Cesaro.
In a pre-taped backstage segment during tonight’s broadcast, Rollins and Ambrose would actually offer Angle a tactical vest to sport as he joined them for the night to team as a Shield 2.0 of sorts. Angle would oblige.
Rollins: We were joking, Kurt!

While we knew that seeing Angle in a WWE ring for the first time in 11 years would be can’t miss television, we didn’t know that he’d actually be the newest member of The Shield. Check it out.

Angle would leave the match early after taking a table bump from Braun Strowman. Angle would later return to join his Shield mates and help them score the victory.
