WWN Live joins subscription service game with ‘Club WWN’

WWNLive has joined the streaming subscription service game with Club WWN, a service that is already live as of today.

Gabe Sapolsky made the “game changing” announcement in his most recent WWN Alerts post where he would give all of the info on Club WWN. Here’s what we learned.

• Club WWN will cost you $9.99 a month. If you sign up by January 31st, you first month is free.

• A subscription gets you unlimited VOD access to Evolve, Shine, Dragon Gate USA, FIP, Style Battle and more.

• Live PPV streaming is not a part of your subscription. However, you will get 50% each PPV with a subscription. That means each PPV will only be $5 to watch live and $7.50 for the live/vod option if you’re a Club WWN subscriber. The events will still be available on FITE TV and

• New events will be available on Club WWN approximately two weeks after they air. Gabe notes that this is similar to the PROGRESS model.

Here’s a link to Gabe’s post for more info on everything we said above plus information on the loyalty program.

All in all, this is a great move by WWN. They were the focal point of the failed FloSlam service that cost $20 – $30 a month, so fans who subscribed just to see their events (most did) are getting immediate savings. The PPV idea makes sense and I really like that they’re rewarding subscribers by giving them half off to watch them live. The loyalty program offers perks that can save you money on tickets and merch which is also something that I think everyone can get behind.

This reeks of a well thought out fan friendly plan. It will be refreshing to see the creative minds behind WWN given full control of what goes out there after the abomination that was FloSlam. While it is tough to keep up with all of the new subscription services these days, this one looks like a winner on the surface. We’ll have more on it after we subscribe and give it a good once over.
